Report Data Warehouse view descriptions

The following table lists all views currently available in the Autotask Report Data Warehouse. All view names begin with wh_, and the list is sorted alphabetically by the label following the wh_.

A brief description of the view appears next to the view name. For details on the columns available in each view, download the Report Data Warehouse Schema spreadsheet.

NOTE  The terminology in Report Data Warehouse does not always match terms that appear in the Autotask user interface. For example, the term "company" appears in the UI and Report Data Warehouse uses the term "account" for the same entities. For more information, refer to Report Data Warehouse.

View Name Description
wh_account Stores the base fields that describe Companies, for example, those fields found in the Company Detail page. User-defined fields are in wh_account_udf. Company contact fields are in wh_account_contact.

wh_account_category

Stores the Account Category settings, also known as Classifications.

wh_account_contact Stores base fields that describe company contacts, for example, those fields in the Contact Detail page, > CRM > Search > Contacts > click Contact name. User-defined fields are in wh_account_contact_udf.
wh_account_contact_udf Stores user-defined fields for company contacts. Base fields are in wh_account_contact.
wh_account_invoice_email_template_preference Maps companies to a specific invoice email template.
wh_account_invoice_preferences Stores the billing preference settings for a company.
wh_account_location Stores fields that describe a company's locations, including id, location name, address & other contact information as configured through CRM > Companies > Company Detail > Context menu > Locations.
wh_account_resource Maps Companies to resources that are members of client teams associated with the companies as configured through > CRM > Search Companies > right-click Edit Company > Account Team.
wh_account_type Stores the available Company Types as displayed in the Company Type drop-down menu in the Add Company or edit Company pages.
wh_account_udf Stores user-defined fields for Companies. Base fields are in wh_account.
wh_address_format Stores fields that describe address formats available for display in Autotask.
wh_allocation_code Stores base fields for Billing Codes. Billing Codes are configured through > Admin > Finance, Accounting, and Invoicing, and applied to resource activities.
wh_allocation_code_group Enumerates Billing Code Groups.
wh_allocation_code_rule Stores Billing Code Rules as applied to Expense Categories configured through the Rules tab of the Add or Edit Expense Category page, accessed through > Admin > Finance, Accounting & Invoicing > Billing Codes > Expense Categories.
wh_allocation_code_type Enumerates Billing Code Types. Billing Code types are pre-set and assigned to a Billing Code based on the Billing Code page tab from which the code is added. For example, all Billing Codes added through > Admin >Finance, Accounting & Invoicing > Billing Codes > Internal Time tab are of type Internal Time.
wh_allowed_time_off Stores maximum allowed Time Off limits, that is, personal time, vacation, etc. for each resource for the calendar year.
wh_appointment Stores fields that describe Appointments as scheduled through the Dispatch Calendar.
wh_approver_resource Maps Resources designated as timesheet or expense approvers to their approvees. Timesheet approvers are assigned through > Admin > Features & Settings > Resources/Users (HR) > Resources/Users (HR) > Resources/Users > New or Edit Resource > Approvers tab.
wh_approver_type Enumerates Approver types, for example, timesheet approver.
wh_attachment Stores fields that describe Attachments added to notes, resources, companies, etc.
wh_attachment_account Maps Attachments associated with companies to the associated companies.

Maps Attachments associated with expense items to the associated expense item.

wh_attachment_expense_report Maps Attachments associated with expense reports to the associated expense reports.
wh_attachment_note Maps Attachments associated with notes to the associated notes.
wh_attachment_project Maps Attachments associated with projects to the associated projects.
wh_attachment_resource Maps Attachments associated with resources to the associated resources.
wh_attachment_task Maps Attachments associated with tasks to the associated tasks.
wh_attachment_type Enumerates types of attachments, for example, URL or resource photo attachment.
wh_backup_device_kernel_version Stores the fields that describe the kernel version (id and name) for devices audited by Datto RMM.
wh_backup_device_operating_system_version Stores the fields that describe the OS version (id and name) for devices audited by Datto RMM.
wh_backup_device_zfs_version Stores the fields that describe the ZFS version (id and name) for devices audited by Datto RMM.
wh_billing_item Stores fields that describe items that have gone through the approve & post process, that is, items submitted for billing.
wh_billing_item_type Removed with 2016.1 release.
wh_billing_milestone Stores fields describing Billing Milestones as specified in > Admin > Finance, Accounting & Invoicing > Billing Codes and applied to contracts.
wh_billing_milestone_status Enumerates billing Milestone Statuses ( > Admin > Contracts > Contracts & Un-Posting), for example, In Progress, as applied to fixed price contracts.
wh_billing_preference_type Enumerates the Billing Preference Types available to associate with contracts in the Contract Wizard.
wh_billing_pricing_method Describes the pricing methods available for non-Standard billing types.
wh_billing_sub_type Enumerates the billing sub-types in Autotask, for example, Ticket Labor, Task Labor.
wh_billing_type Enumerates the billing types in Autotask, for example, Labor, Cost Milestone.
wh_business_division Stores the fields that describe the first (division) level of lines of business.
wh_business_division_subdivision Stores the fields that describe the combination of first and second (line of business) level of lines of business.
wh_business_division_subdivision_resource Stores the resources IDs of resources associated with each combination of division and line of business.
wh_business_hours Stores the fields that describe location specific preferences for internal location hours, for example, time zone.
wh_business_structure_setting Stores the mapping of lines of business to QuickBooks classes.
wh_business_subdivision Stores the fields that describe the second (line of business) level of lines of business.
wh_change_request_approval_board Stores the fields that describe Change Advisory Boards, as specified in > Admin > Features & Settings > Service Desk (Tickets) > Change Advisory Boards.
wh_change_request_problem_incident Stores information that maps Incident and Problem Tickets to a Change Request Ticket.
wh_competitor Stores the fields that describe Competitors, configured through > Admin >CRM > Companies and optionally associated with Companies.
wh_contact_billing_product Describes the billing products associated with a contact.
wh_contract Stores the fields that describe Contracts, for example, those fields that appear in the Contract Wizard and edit Contract views.
wh_contract_billing_rule Stores the fields that describe contract billing rules of contacts and assets.
wh_contract_billing_rule_pricing_tier Describes the price tiers associated with billing rules for contacts or assets.
wh_contract_block Stores fields that describe Contract Blocks associated with Block Hour contracts.
wh_contract_block_notification_rule

Stores fields that describe Notification rules for Block Hour Contracts as specified through the Notification Rules option available when you right-click a block hour contract in the > Contracts > Contracts search results grid > click a Contract.

Stores rules for repurchase of Block Hour Contract blocks as specified through the Notification Rules option available when you right-click a block hour contract in the > Contracts > Contracts search results grid > click a Contract.
wh_contract_category Enumerates Contract Categories as configured through > Admin > Contracts & Un-Posting > Contract Categories and available to assign to a contract.

wh_contract_cost_default

Stores charge defaults for a contract.

wh_contract_exclusion_allocation_code

Describes a billing Work Type (Allocation Code) that is excluded from the contract.

wh_contract_exclusion_role

Describes a billing Role that is excluded from the contract

wh_contract_exclusion_set Describes a set of roles and work types that are excluded from a contract. An exclusion set can be applied to multiple contracts.
wh_contract_exclusion_set_allocation_code Describes a billing Work Type (Allocation Code) that is excluded from the contract the set is applied to.
wh_contract_exclusion_set_role Describes a billing Role that is excluded from the contract the set is applied to.

wh_contract_exclusion_set_subissue_type

Describes a Ticket sub-issue type that is excluded from the contract to which the set is applied.

wh_contract_exclusion_subissue_type

Describes a Ticket sub-issue type that is excluded from the contract.

wh_contract_rate Stores the fields that describe Rates configured for contracts.
wh_contract_repurchase_notification_rule Stores the fields that describe all Repurchase/Notification rules created for block, retainer, and per ticket contracts. Rules are added from the Contract Summary view (Search Contracts > open Contract > contract Menu > Notification Rules). All rule types do the following: When a contract unit (block, retainer, or Per Ticket purchase) gets below the rule threshold it will automatically repurchase the number of units at the rate specified in the rule and send an email to all the specified recipients. Refer to "wh_contract_repurchase_notification_rule_
recipient."
wh_contract_repurchase_notification_rule_recipient Stores the contacts and resources specified to receive notification when a contract repurchase/notification rule is triggered. Either resource_id or account_contact_id will always be null. Note that "additional_email_addresses" are stored in "wh_contract_repurchase_notification_rule."
wh_contract_resource_role_internal_cost Stores the resource id, contract Id, role id and cost rates for Contract Internal Costs added to Autotask contracts.
wh_contract_service Maps Contracts to Services associated with the contracts.

NOTE: wh_contract_service.units is deprecated; join to wh_contract_service_period for count of units
wh_contract_service_adjustment Stores fields that describe Adjustments made to contract service charges.
wh_contract_service_bundle Maps Contracts to associated service bundles.

NOTE: wh_contract_service_bundle.units is deprecated; join to wh_contract_service_bundle_period for count of units
wh_contract_service_bundle_adjustment Stores fields that describe Adjustments made to Charges for Service Bundles associated with contracts.
wh_contract_service_bundle_period Maps Contracts to time periods set for Service Bundles associated with the Contracts.
wh_contract_service_period Maps Contracts to time periods set for Services associated with the Contracts.
wh_contract_type Enumerates Contract types, for example, Fixed Price or Block Hour.
wh_contract_udf Pivoted view. Stores contract user-defined fields. Base fields are in wh_contract.For non-pivoted view of Contract UDF data, refer to wh_udf_value_contract.
wh_cost_product Stores fields that describe Cost details associated with a Product.
wh_cost_product_status Enumerates the statuses available to apply to product costs: 1 -Picked, 2 -On Order, 3-New, 5 -Ready to Deliver/Ship, 7 -Delivered/Shipped Full
wh_country Stores the countries available in the Country lists in the Autotask interface along with their display name and assigned address format.
wh_crm_note Stores fields that describe Notes associated with the CRM module.
wh_crm_note_type Enumerates the Note Types available to assign to CRM Notes.
wh_crm_todo Stores the fields that describe CRM To-Dos and appear in New or Edit To-Do pages in the CRM module.
wh_crm_todo_type Enumerates the Types available to assign to CRM To-Do.
wh_currency Stores fields that describe Currency types associated with expense line items that appear in Expense Reports.

wh_dashboard_tab

Stores the fields that describe individual tabs/pages on your dashboard that contain widgets.

wh_department Stores fields that describe the Departments configured through > Admin > Features & Settings > Your Organization and associated with Locations, Roles, and Resources.
wh_department_resource Maps Departments to the Resources associated with the departments.
wh_device_audit_antivirus_status Stores the fields that describe the antivirus status (id and name) for devices audited by Datto RMM.
wh_device_audit_architecture Stores the fields that describe architecture information (id and name) for devices audited by Datto RMM.
wh_device_audit_device_type Stores the fields that describe device type information (id and name) for devices audited by Datto RMM.
wh_device_audit_display_adaptor Stores the fields that describe display adaptor information (id and name) for devices audited by Datto RMM.
wh_device_audit_domain Stores the fields that describe domain information (id and name) for devices audited by Datto RMM.

wh_display_format_time

Enumerates the fields that describe the time format.

wh_domain_name_registrar

Stores the fields that describe the domain name registrar.

wh_email_type Enumerates the Email types available to associate with Resource email addresses.
wh_expense_item Stores the fields that describe Expense Line Items that are added to an expense report. Data for the overall expense report is in wh_expense_report.
wh_expense_item_type Enumerates the Expense Types available to associate with an expense line item.
wh_expense_payment_type Enumerates the Payment Types available to associate with an expense line item.
wh_expense_report Stores the fields that describe Expense Reports. The fields that describe individual line items added to the expense report are in wh_expense_item.
wh_expense_status Enumerates the Statuses available to apply to expense reports.
wh_export_batch Stores the fields that describe Exported Data.
wh_export_type Enumerates Export Types available to associate with an export.
wh_gender Enumerates gender choices to assign to resources.
wh_general_ledger Stores the fields that describe General Ledger Names and numbers as configured through > Admin > Features & Settings > Finance, Accounting & Invoicing > General Ledger Accounts, and applied to cost allocations.
wh_holiday Stores the fields that describe individual Holidays. Holidays are grouped into holiday sets, which are stored in wh_holiday_set.
wh_holiday_set Stores the fields that describe Holiday Sets. Holiday Sets are configured groups of the selected individual holidays stored in wh_holiday.
wh_hours_of_operation Stores the fields that describe hours during which service is available for an internal location, including regular business hours and extended hours, as specified in the Edit Internal Location page, Hours tab.
wh_installed_product Stores base fields that describe Assets (that is, Configuration Items). Assets are Products that are associated with a Company and managed through > CRM > Assets. General Asset user-defined fields (UDFs) are stored in wh_installed_product_udf. Asset site configuration user-defined fields are stored in wh_site_configuration_udf.
wh_installed_product_billing_product Describes the billing products associated with an asset.

wh_installed_product_category

Stores fields that describe Asset Categories. Asset Categories are configured in > Admin > Features & Settings > Assets > Asset Categories.

wh_installed_product_udf Pivoted view. Stores user-defined fields for Assets (Configuration Items). Base fields for Assets are stored in wh_installed_product.

wh_installed_product_udf_group Enumerates Asset UDF Groups. Groups are unique to Asset UDFs.
wh_installed_product_udf_group_detail Stores the fields that describe Asset UDF Groups.
wh_inventory_item Stores the base fields that describe the inventory and the current on hand quantity.
wh_inventory_item_serial Stores the serial numbers that are assigned to inventory items. The relationship between the item and the serial numbers is a one-to-many relationship.
wh_inventory_location Stores the base fields that describe inventory locations.
wh_inventory_order Stores base fields that describe the inventory orders.
wh_inventory_order_product Stores the product fields in an inventory order including the quantity ordered and the inventory location it is ordered for.

wh_inventory_order_receipt

Stores the fields that describe the receipt of an inventory order. A single wh_inventory_order_receipt row can be associated with multiple wh_inventory_receive rows.

wh_inventory_order_status Enumerates the statuses available to assign to inventory orders.
wh_inventory_receive Stores the fields that describe items received on inventory orders.
wh_inventory_receive_serial Records the serial numbers of received items.

wh_inventory_return_type

Enumerates the return types available to associate with an inventory stock item: 1 - Returned, 2 - Refurbished, 3 - Clearance Item

wh_inventory_stock

Stores the fields that describe the set of items with one product that was received at one time with one cost from one vendor.

wh_inventory_stock_item

Stores the fields that describe an actual item, or collection of items, that is bought, sold, or moved around inventory.

wh_inventory_stock_item_status

Enumerates the statuses available to associate with an inventory stock item: 1 - Available, 2 - Picked, 3 - Reserved, 4 - Delivered, 5 - Removed

wh_inventory_transfer Stored base fields that describe the transfer of the inventory items between inventory locations, projects or tickets.
wh_inventory_transfer_serial Maps serial numbers to multiple inventory item instances on an inventory transfer.
wh_inventory_transfer_type Describes the type of the inventory transfer. The type could be between inventory locations, projects or tickets.
wh_invoice Stores the fields that describe Invoices generated through the Approve and Post process.
wh_invoice_additional_field Stores the fields that describe the custom fields that users can add to the invoice, including Name, default value, sort order and active status.
wh_invoice_additional_field_value Stores the data tracked in additional invoice fields, by invoice ID.
wh_invoice_email_template Stores the fields that describe the invoice email messages that are used to email invoices to customers, as configured in Admin > Features & Settings > Finance, Accounting & Invoicing > Invoice Email Messages.
wh_invoice_email_template_contact Maps a customer contact to the invoice email message template selected for a company.
wh_issue_type Stores the fields that describe the Issue Types configured through > Admin > Features & Settings > Service Desk (Tickets) > Issue and Sub-issue Types and available to assign to tickets.
wh_key_account_icon Stores the fields that describe Autotask Classifications, icon images that provide a visual identifier to classify Companies.
wh_knowledgebase_article Stores the fields that describe a knowledgebase article including title, body, created by resource, and additional data
wh_knowledgebase_article_comment Stores comments added to knowledgebase articles
wh_knowledgebase_article_ticket Stores the information that links knowledgebase articles with associated tickets
wh_knowledgebase_category Enumerates the knowledgebase categories used to organize knowledgebase articles. Categories are hierarchical.

wh_knowledgebase_checklist_item

Store fields that describe an knowledgebase checklist.

wh_knowledgebase_document

Stores the fields that describe a knowledgebase document including title, body, created by resource, and additional data

wh_knowledgebase_document_category

Enumerates the knowledgebase categories used to organize knowledgebase documents. Categories are hierarchical.

wh_knowledgebase_note

Stores the fields that describe a note associated with a knowledgebase article or document.

wh_knowledgebase_note_article

Maps a knowledgebase article to a knowledgebase note (wh_knowledgebase_note).

wh_knowledgebase_note_document

Maps a knowledgebase document to a knowledgebase note (wh_knowledgebase_note).

wh_knowledgebase_publish_to_type Enumerates the publish types available for knowledgebase articles.

wh_knowledgebase_ticket_tag

Stores the tags associated with an knowledgebase article.

wh_line_of_business Stores fields that describe company lines of business that are configured through > Admin > Features & Settings > Your Organization and used to categorize Projects.
wh_location Stores fields that describe company Internal Locations configured through > Admin > Features & Settings > Your Organization and associated with Resources.
wh_login_log_autotask Stores the fields that track login activity for the Autotask application.
wh_login_log_client_access Stores the fields that track login activity for the Client Portal application. Client Portal is an Autotask add-on that allows clients to be assigned project tasks and to access project information.
wh_market_segment Stores the fields that describe Market Segments, configured through > Admin > Features & Settings > Companies & Contacts and associated with Company detail information.
wh_name_salutation Stores the fields that describe the salutations available to precede a contact or resource name.
wh_name_suffix Stores the fields that describe suffixes available to follow a contact or resource name.
wh_note Stores the fields that describe Notes that users can add to several Autotask entities, for example, Company, Task, Contract.
wh_note_account Maps Company Notes to the associated companies.
wh_note_account_contact Removed with 2019.1 release.
wh_note_contract Maps Contract Notes to the associated contracts.
wh_note_installed_product Stores the fields that associate an asset with asset notes.
wh_note_parent_type Enumerates the Note Type Categories available to assign to a Note Type. The Note Parent Type determines where a note type is available in Autotask and what entity it will be associated with. For example, a Note Type with Note Parent Type of Task is available to assign to notes added to Tasks; if the Note Parent Type is Project, the note is available to assign to notes added to Projects.

wh_note_product

Associates a note with a product.

wh_note_project Maps Project Notes to the associated project.
wh_note_publication_type Maps publication types to notes as specified through Publish Choice for Project notes.
wh_note_task Maps Task Notes to the associated tasks.
wh_note_type Enumerates Note Types configured through > Admin > Features & Settings > Application-Wide (Shared) Features > Note Types and assigned to notes.
wh_opportunity Stores base fields that describe the Opportunities associated with companies and managed through the CRM module. User-defined fields are in wh_opportunity_udf.
wh_opportunity_advanced_fee_label Enumerates the Advanced Fee field labels that are configured through > Admin > Features & Settings > Sales & Opportunities and appear in CRM > Opportunity add and edit views.

wh_opportunity_category

Stores fields that describe Opportunity Categories. Opportunity Categories are configured in > Admin > Features & Settings > Sales & Opportunities > Opportunity Categories.

wh_opportunity_checklist_item

Store fields that describe an opportunity's checklist.

wh_opportunity_loss_reason Stores the fields that describe loss reasons for opportunities
wh_opportunity_rating Maps wh_opportunity.opportunity_rating_id to the rating label displayed in the UI.
wh_opportunity_stage Enumerates Opportunity Stages configured through > Admin > Features & Settings > Sales & Opportunities and assigned to opportunities.
wh_opportunity_stage_change Stores the fields that specify dates when Stage changes occur for Opportunities.
wh_opportunity_status Enumerates Opportunity Statuses available to assign to opportunities.
wh_opportunity_udf Pivoted view. Stores user-defined fields for Opportunities. Base fields are in wh_opportunity.For non-pivoted view of Opportunity UDF data, refer to wh_udf_value_opportunity.
wh_opportunity_win_reason Stores the fields that describe win reasons for opportunities
wh_overdraft_policy Enumerates Overdraft policies available to assign as a Rule to the Expense Categories that are configured through > Admin > Features & Settings > Finance, Accounting, & Invoicing > Billing Codes > Expense Categories (Overdraft Policies appear on the Rules tab). Expense Categories are applied to Expense Reports.
wh_payment_term Stores fields that describe Payment Terms as configured through > Admin > Features & Settings > Finance, Accounting, & Invoicing and applied to Invoices.
wh_payment_type Stores fields that describe Payment Types as configured through > Admin > Features & Settings > Finance, Accounting, & Invoicing and applied to some Contract types.
wh_payroll_type Enumerates the type of payroll configurations, for example, salary, available to assign to a resource through > Admin > Features & Settings > Resources/Users (HR) > Resources/Users (HR)> Resources/Users > Edit Resource > HR tab.
wh_pending_overall Stores fields that describe all pending billing items, that is, items submitted for billing but not yet posted.
wh_performance_metric Stores fields that describe Performance Metrics for service desk and CRM sales quotas as configured in > Admin > Features & Settings > Sales & Opportunities and displayed on the Dashboard.
wh_performance_metric_type Enumerates Performance Metric Types available to assign to performance metrics.
wh_person Stores the fields that identify a company contact OR resource.
wh_phase_budget Maps Project Phases to Contract Rates to model phase budgets.
wh_posted_overall Contains data used for profitability reporting. Use this view to sum up revenue and cost for a contract.

NOTE  There may not be a row for each individual billing item in this view. Time entries that were "split" in Approve and Post are combined back into a single row in this view.

wh_price_list_material_code Stores price list details for material codes
wh_price_list_product Stores price list details for Products.
wh_price_list_product_pricing_tier Describes the pricing tiers associated with a product on the price list, including prices in different currencies.
wh_price_list_role Stores price list details for roles
wh_price_list_service Stores price list details for Services.
wh_price_list_service_bundle Stores price list details for Service Bundles.
wh_price_list_work_type_modifier Stores price list details for modifiers applied to Work Types.
wh_priority Stores fields that describe Priorities as configured through > Admin > Features & Settings > Service Desk (Tickets) and assigned to tickets and tasks.
wh_product Stores base fields that describe Products as defined through > Admin > Features & Settings > Products & Services > Products. User-defined fields are in wh_product_udf.
wh_product_billing_type Stores the fields that describe product billing types.
wh_product_category Stores Product Categories as configured through > Admin > Features & Settings > Products & Services and assigned to Products.
wh_product_pricing_tier Stores the fields that describe the pricing tiers for products on the product list.

wh_survey_result_notification Stores information that determines when notifications should be sent out with respect to survey responses, and to whom.

wh_tax_region Stores the fields that describe an area, usually geographic, that shares a common tax rate for specified cost items.
wh_tax_region_category Stores the fields that describe the intersection of a tax region with a tax category to determine the total effective tax rate.
