Conditions and requirements

General

  • Your API user must have View, Create, or Edit object permissions for Tickets to create tag associations.

  • To delete existing ticket tag associations, your API user must have both the Can administer ticket tags and tag groups permission and the Can remove ticket tags from tickets permission.

  • This entity cannot perform updates. It can only create or delete ticket tag associations.
  • You may add a maximum of 30 tags to a ticket. Requests that exceed this threshold will fail.
